    AI Engineer

    CourtIQ, Part-time, Remote

    Sep 2026 to present

    • Building CourtIQ's computer vision pipeline for futsal video analysis, covering player detection, tracking, Re-ID, and long-term identity association.
    • Matching player tracklets across video chunks using appearance embeddings, Hungarian one-to-one assignment, hard gating, and track-level evaluation.
    • Selecting representative player stills while keeping metadata that links each output to its source frame, chunk, and global tracklet.

    • Developing mobile applications and highway management systems for transportation and navigation use cases.
    • Working on route data, road-direction logic, carriageway analysis, and mapping integration using coordinates and route geometry.

    • Led the technical build of SportSphere, a sports club management platform, at an early-stage startup.
    • Built an end-to-end sports computer vision pipeline with custom object detection, player and ball tracking, and homography-based court mapping.
    • Shipped product on Google Cloud using Next.js, Firebase, Cloud Functions, and Vertex AI.

    • Owned the Swift-to-Flutter bridge for the native CarPlay experience of TuJu, a Malaysian navigation app.
    • Integrated turn-by-turn routing and Siri-driven hazard reporting with the Flutter navigation engine.

    • Shipped ML, web, and mobile products for clients, including PCB defect detection with YOLO, facial expression recognition, and an AR Fitting Room platform.
    • Built NadiAir, a water-quality system combining Random Forest detection with Genetic Algorithm route optimisation.
    • Built an AWS demand forecasting pipeline with PySpark feature engineering in Glue, Parquet on S3, and training in SageMaker Studio.
